My 14 yr old son and I recently visited DC for 5 days and this was a must-do on my list. I've been to DC two previous times and never made it out to the Cathedral. We are both so glad we did it this...More

Was so inspiring to see the Cathedral with all it's splendor and beauty. The guard who was in the Cathedral gave us information and let us take time to see everything.

This is a beautiful Cathedral. It looks and feel like a cathedral in Europe. It is only a little over a 100 years old but feels much older. The stain glass windows are stunning.

We have visited many cathedrals in Europe but they have nothing on the Washington National Cathredal, except being older. It is quite beautiful. After your visit have a great lunch at the Open City Cafe located on the Cathedral's property.

Washington National Cathedral is a great "off the beaten path" place to explore. The tours are definitely worthwhile and my personal favorite is the gargoyles (there is a darth vadar one btw). Check out the schedule online before venturing out as they routinely host events...More

This is no EU-style cathedral. A misnomer in my view. National C of E. The whole place remains unfinished by EU standards.

I traveled with a group of 4 women and this was the highlight of the trip for all of us. If you're going to go, I highly suggest paying the extra money and doing the behind the scenes tour. We were taken to all kinds...More

Beautiful building to walk around and the grounds are vast. Was there for a service which was fantastic. Try to visit when you can hear the choir. Their voices float through the air.

Visited this Cathedral on June 15, 2017. It was so beautiful and majestic. Discount tickets for veterans. We did the self-guided tour and there was plenty to see. Tons of amazing photo opportunities.

I've seen more than a few pocket-book sized dogs being carried by their owners. On the grounds, there is, of course, ample opportunity to walk your dog, leashed, of course. Not too sure if taking a large dog inside would be... More
