Beautiful and worth the visit. There is an admission charge, but the tour is not an additional charge. They have self-guided walking tours but I recommend taking the tour. The guides are friendly and informative. Our tour lasted about an hour. There is so much...More

I am overwhelmed by how wonderful the Cathedral is - I could have spent hours staring at the stained glass windows. Take time to wonder around the nooks and crannies of this wonderful Cathedral.

This Cathedral has been built over the years in the true tradition of old world craftsmanship. I watched it get started in the '60s and the finished product later in the '80s and through the earthquake of the 2000's. From the hidden tea room in...More

Pictures do not do it justice - it is amazing! There was a military wedding going on the afternoon we visited...we felt like we were included in their special day.

You don't need to be religious to appreciate the architecture, history and nod to gothic cathedrals. My husband and I enjoy about two hours wandering and sitting here. Free on Sundays only.

There's an information sheet available inside with all the gargoyles listed, so you could do another tour and pick up that sheet and walk round outside afterwards.

I've seen more than a few pocket-book sized dogs being carried by their owners. On the grounds, there is, of course, ample opportunity to walk your dog, leashed, of course. Not too sure if taking a large dog inside would be... More
