Probably the best and coolest neighborhood in WDC...also the most expensive... The área is safe 24 hrs, with some of the best bars and restaurants in town.

Georgetown offers a wide variety of activities, shopping and restaurants. A little expensive as is all of DC but that is what DC is about. Great place to stay and is centrally located to all the sites and DC buildings
Georgetown is a really nice neighborhood in Washington DC with a lot of restaurants, shops and old characteristic buildings (for example the Old Stone House), we went there for a walk and for dinner on a Saturday evening and it was very lively.
Walked around & had fun going in & out of the MANY stores. Waterfront area is a nice walk. Make sure you pick up a Georgetown cupcake. Georgetown University is a small but beautiful campus.
Aesthetically beautiful, full of bar restaurants and shops it is definitely worth to spend some time here while in DC.
Constant construction but new places to see. Haven't been in the area for quite a few years. Even more up and coming tourist attractions.
Loved this little town beautiful shops and buildings lovely town just to stroll through and then when your finished shopping pop into Georgetown cupcakes for a coffee and cake so worth it...
Such a clean, cute small college town. Bars and restaurants are abundant. The homes are picturesque. The pier is really nice. Georgetown Cupcakes is a must!
