The best things in life are free & sometimes what you can find in DC for that price doesn’t suck either. This Memorial Day weekend, I visited Washington DC for the first time, & made a point of visiting The Kennedy Center. Visit their web...More

The décor of the Kennedy Center is reminiscent of a 19th Century New Orleans Bordello, consisting of garish reds and an overabundance of glitter. The theater programs consist largely of low budget non-Equity versions of mega-hits such as "Cats," targeted to those who rarely have...More

There is something extra-special about seeing a performance at such a famous and renowned theater. The Kennedy Center brings out the best in its patrons - forget casual jeans and flip-flops! Bring your A-game and feel a little upper-crust for a few hours. Rooftop restaurant...More

Was attending a performance back in April and made reservations for brunch and I'm not sorry! Had a great experience and always enjoy Brunch and the view from the restaurant. Helpful hint, make reservations for Brunch ahead of time and as early as possible because...More

I love improv so this was a great recommendations when I turned up at 7.30 pm without a ticket to an event and asked what I could see. I loved it and I had seen it before about 18 years ago. It was current with...More

Please before you visit the Kennedy Center go online to see what theater events may be available on the day of your visit. All the many theaters are excellently maintained and are spotlessly clean. Better still the many American and foreign symphonic orchestra, and opera,...More

no other city in the world offers you free live entertainment every night of the year. Tonight's treat was Harlem and DC jazz. Great venue, amazing acoustics and friendly and efficient bar staff and ushers. Highly recommend.

As a guest to 1st Tier side seating, one can see the enormous seating capacity. VIP lounge was less than expected. This famous concert facility was built to efficiently move a large number of people and did not have long standing lines. Enjoyed it.

Went on a tour - volunteer led - of the entire facility. Saw things I would never have seen on my own. The volunteer - one of 500 who do all sorts of things for the facility, including raising money - was very knowledgeable about...More

Very limited because everyone will be out on the mall. If you get a chance check with the hotel to see what activity is going on in town on the mall. Most likely there will be free concerts by the military bands
