A must see in DC

Great views as well as music theatre and dance. Great free concerts at the Mellemium Stage as well as walks all around the building and up on the top terrace areas.

This review is not of the production we saw. It is only of the seat location and ability to see the stage. Orchestra V Seat 128 Seats are NOT stadium style. Seats are NOT off-set enough to be able to see around the person in front of you. The person in front of me was about the same height as... More

It reminds you of a theme park but it is all about the history of NASA. Make sure to take the bus tour first thing. It takes you out to the launch pads. You can't get off of the bus but you can get interesting photos. You will also see lots of animals like eagles, alligators, boars and turtles along... More

Booked online at home and went to the box office and easily retrieved my ticket. This continues to amaze me!1 However, this grand Theatre complex is looking tired, it is massive, but the standout performances of 'Into the Woods' made up for it. I love the red carpet against the golden lights, America loves the colour too, but the carpet... More

This is a limited review of the center. My family recently saw Twist Your Dickens which was in the Theater Lab. My family and I are tall people. The seating was very uncomfortable with very little leg room. The show was just OK. The seating made this a less than satisfying experience.

Went with the family to watch Into The Woods. The parking was priced reasonably for D.C. Walked around the grand halls, lit by beautiful chandeliers and red carpeting. Went onto the balcony and got a lovely view of D.C. This is gorgeous building with amazing scheduled events. We also enjoyed the play.

This place was breathtaking. It was great to see a hip hop concert in a formal gown. The acoustics were awesome. You must take the tour. There were free coat check, and printed pic, on the way out the door. Adult beverages, and light snacks were available for purchase. You can drink inside with a souvenir cup. There were free... We were visiting DC over New Years Eve and saw Wicked at the Kennedy Center. The show was fabulous. The Kennedy Center was very nice. We stayed for the New Years Eve celebration afterwards. It was a great night. Would highly recommend the show and if you are there for New Years it is a special treat.

The Kennedy Center was a nice surprise. We stopped by for a few hours to tour the building. We received a free tour that lasted about an hour. They told us about the donated art work, we were able to go into the concert hall. They explained about each stage and we even saw the presidential box seats. We walked... More

Came here to see 'Wicked' and then stayed for their balloon drop to celebrate New Year's Eve. Could have used more people selling drinks but the performance was amazing and the environment to celebrate the New Year is great as you feel super fancy in the grand hallways.
