What a tresure house. I couldn't believe that I was really standing in front of Renoir's Boating Party. The colours just sang out. Postcards and photographs just don't do it justice. The Jacob Lawrence collection was new to me and told a moving story.

Although there is a cost to get into the Phillips, it is an amazing collection of modern art. You can spend a long time in front of the special landscape exhibit. Paintings of France, Venice, the Grand Canyon, etc... are among some of the items....More

Our first visit to the Phillips. Love the building and the space. Glad we went. An impressive collection that we really enjoyed seeing. The cafe is also lovely, great food and service.

Love this art collection and the house it's in. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Georgetown. Wonderful gift shop and cafe as well.
