Incredible and educational tribute

Such a well done memorial to the men and women who fought in that war. Incredibly educational and powerful.

A good place to come and get a feel for the solemnness of those that have served and lost friends and loved ones.

So well done, so real! Enjoyed every moment of looking at the way they had placed the statues and reading the information.

Seeing this memorial, which is a little to the side of the Lincoln Memorial feels like stumbling upon a troop of ghost soldiers on patrol. Everything about the memorial, the placement of the figures, the position of the figures, the coloration of the figures, contributes to the haunting feel of this memorial. The Korean war was known for presenting our... More

We did the entire mall and were impressed by it all, but thought this was the most visually arresting tribute. It made it personal.

When you walk there, you experience a bit of the war. The expressions on their faces resemble quite well the suffering of the soldiers. Also you can experience some of the useless of the war by the expressions of the soldiers.

The Korean War Veterans Memorial takes you to Korea with our troops! BEAUTIFUL, realistic sculptured soldiers in full gear, traversing a foreign land. The realism is moving, stopping a moment in time during the Korean War. Not to be missed, it's located directly across from the Lincoln Memorial.

I have visited the Korean War Memorial on several occasions and am always amazed at how intense walking thru the military figures make you feel. There are numerous infantry men on patrol and you will feel like the patrol is actually happening when you walk thru it! I am a Vietnam Vet and can understand why. You've gotta visit this... More

Unfortunately, This memorial is often overlooked by visitors unless they have a direct connection to the Korean War. It is a simply stunning memorial and evokes reverence when walking through it. The only thing better than seeing it any time is when there is snow on the ground around it--this makes it a still life of real life and very... More

I love the Korean Memorial. It has always been my favorite memorial to see at night. When I take visitors to see the Korean Memorial, I always suggest seeing it in the evening. The ambiance of the statutes with the lighting and shadows come alive at this monument. It gives a deep appreciation for this conflict, that is often shadowed... More
