This memorial is very close to the Vietnam Memorial wall. I happened to visit with a friend whose grandmother had been a nurse in the war. Too often we forget the women who sacrificed and had such great impacts on the outcomes of the war...More

This memorial is so beautiful and it seems like the statues are all alive and telling their story. A great piece of art!

It’s often forgotten that women served during periods of conflict both on the home front and in operational areas where they did sterling work as nurses and in other non combatant roles (I realise things have changed nowadays) - so it’s a fitting tribute to...More

Powerful reminder of women's accomplishments. Many books and movies about Vietnam, but not as much attention as deserved for what women did. This is an important and powerful reminder.

This is an emotional tribute to those women who played such an important role in the service of our country in an unpopular war. It's important that women are recognized among the memorials in DC.

This memorial does a nice job of highlighting the important role of women in the Vietnam War. There is a sign describing the memorial, which was good.
