The National Mall is really pretty at night!! It was really crowded and humid and definitely requires a lot of walking but well worth it!!

Would imagine that all visitors will be able to attach their own personal connection to the National Mall. It was wonderful to finally be there. What a walk.

There are so many things along the Mall from the Capitol to the Lincoln Memorial. It is possible to walk that distance in an afternoon and explore the war memorials. Tackling the Smithsonian and the National Gallery of Art is another matter. Most of the Smithsonian museums take several hours and the National Gallery is worthy of multiple visits. In... More

The Mall is always a wonderful experience. It can get very crowded but is so worth it. Definitely a great family activity.

Just walking to the Capitol from the Lincoln was inspiring... there have been so many marches and events on this mall. My son loved it just as much as I did.... and it was such a warm, November afternoon

I think this was around my twelveth visit to the Mall area. There is always so much to see. We went to see the Coran exihibit. Like always we have to walk half of the mall to reach the place due to the parking problem. The walk is always nice because of all the things that sorrounds the area. Beautiful.

So much to see and so much to do in and around the Mall. I would love to give it five stars but each time I go I get aggravated at how dirty the reflecting pool, some of the outside of the monuments and Constitutional Gardens Pond are. I love Washington and what it is supposed to represent but it... More

I always try to stroll the mall when in D.C., even after living here for 4 years. It is a consistent reminder of the history and grandeur of our capital; the walk by itself, without visiting any of the fabulous buildings, is thrilling.
