Frequently changed exhibits, super cool layout, excellent atmosphere. Intriguing artists and pieces. I particularly love the first floor interactive/film exhibits. Either go alone or bring your modern art loving homies- there’s a lot to look at and read and think about. I certainly would not...More

I've been to the Hirshhorn in the past and enjoyed it very much. The current exhibits, as of November 2017, are a waste of time. I found the Lego portrait exhibit by Weiwei to be tiresome and not well done, frankly. I talked to an...More

I have visited this museum a couple times previously when visiting DC and have always been surprised by something fresh and stimulating. Modern art at its best! A must see.

My wife and I went to see the Gettysburg installation which was simply awesome. Absolutely awesome. We ended up walking around and catching a cool LEGO exhibit by Wei Wei and several other exhibitions, including some interactive ones.

While you are walking on the National Mall you can take a slight detour and visit the Hirshhorn sculpture garden. There are some interesting sculptures here in a nice garden setting.
