Make a splash in our Nation’s Capital aboard the DC Ducks, 1942 amphibious transport vehicles used to support and carry troops during World War II. Today they are a great way to see Washington by both land and sea. Winding our way first through the monuments, the Mall, the Capitol and museums of the Smithsonian before splashing into the Potomac and under the flight path at Reagan National Airport. Its fun for all ages!

I like to hit the pavement when I visit a new city. With so much to see and so many places to walk to, it's often easy to miss the context of how all of the places fit together. To sort of weave things together,...More

While we've been to DC many times, we've never done this tour. It was wonderful! You ride in a WW II duck boat which can drive on land and in water. We have two teenagers who loved the experience, and there were several small children...More

Went on this tour because we thought it would be fun for the kids. Well, it was great for everyone! Fantastic tour that hits many of DC's highlights much more comfortably than walking around the mall in July. I've been to DC several times, but...More

We had a great time on this tour, Captain Steve was funny and very knowledgeable from the moment we were on the "Rubber Duck". Would do this again.

Four adults and 2 children went on this tour on July 3, 2017. Steven was our capable Captain and the name of our duck was 'Lame Duck'. We have been on several narrated tours of the Capital, and this one is by far the best....More

While I've had the pleasure of taking guests on this tour on many occasions, I just had "Bucky" as the tour guild for the first time. Families with children (8-13) will be in luck if they get Capt. Bucky. Although as informative as the "statistics...More

I was reading reviews and figured a Duck tour would be a great way to see the sights our first time in the city. So glad we did this. Unfortunately I didn't realize they book way in advance. Larry at the sales desk was so...More

This was my second duck tour, first being in Boston, and although it didn't compare to the first one, we still had a great time! Our tour guide, jimmy, was great and informed us enough but not too much! My friends (23 year olds) really...More

If you are tired of City tours without heart, then sign up for this experience. We were a family of 8 (ages 11 to 63) and everyone loved this tour. You have your amazing historical "duck-mobile" to cruise in. It is open air so you...More

I have not done the Monuments Tour, but I do know that we viewed the few monuments from an angle that you can't see from a car or by foot. The Ducks tour was by far the most fun and enjoyable tour I think I have ever taken... More

The steps are re a little steep but they are closely spaced. There are handrails you can hold onto and the boat captain will help you get on board. I have difficulty climbing steps also and it was pretty easy. There is no... More
