Water is always nice to see. In a city of Washington's size all the more so. The pool reflects many of the monuments and memorials and is a pleasant addition to the ambiance of the city.

Enjoyed the Cherry Festival even in the COLD weather. The walk around the lake needs to have safety bars on all sides as the path was extremely crowed and worried about being knocked in the water. Took some nice pictures.

I’ve seen the cherry blossoms as they begin to open and near the end of blooming. But seeing the cherry blossoms in full bloom at their peak is an amazing experience. They were gorgeous!

This is a MUST during Cherry Blossom Season. Walk around and soak it up because the peak blooming season doesn't last long, but is well worth the trip.

The Tidal Basin is a man-made reservoir between the Potomac River and the Washington channel in Washington D.C. One can take a nice walk here while viewing the different memorials situated around it. A perfect picnic place. A must visit on a nice sunny day!
