Love to learn...alot

Loved this museum as well. One of the must sees. Several floors to experience and be amazed by. lots of people and kids to maneuver around but that's expected.

If you are going on a Sunday after Spring, expect long line to get in. There are many sections from ocean animals to mammals. There are sculptures that represents real life animal size. Also entry is free.

Excellent museum, great dinosaurs, missed the butterfly exhibit by not having tickets. Bathrooms need better signage and cafeteria's gluten free items were seriously lacking, thus the four star review.

There was too much to be read and then translate to younger ones, which is difficult to do in large crowds. We took some time in a few exhibits but for the most part just took a walk through museum until lunch and iMax show. Felt taken advantage of in food court; grateful that admission was free. Would plan the... More

There is so much to see on multiple floors, that I left feeling I only saw a portion of the museum. Saturday during the Cherry Blossom bloom is probably not the best day to go...it was too crowded to really enjoy.

Whether you are traveling with kids, or solo, this museum has something to surprise everyone. Great mammals exhibit, anthropology, marine, gems and minerals. Live butterfly exhibition is a hit! Come early, it gets crowded later in the day.

I love going to DC to visit and as a Maryland recent have been doing so since I was a kid. This museum is great for the entire family and has so much to see. My favorite exhibit is the gems exhibits. That's also the best place to get a cheap souvenir.

Enjoyed this museum with the family as there were lots of exhibits. Even better there was a little of everything for each person based on what they liked. We found that if you go after 5pm it was not as crowded as during the day. Must be that people get tired by that point and are ready to eat or... More

It reminded us a lot the one of London and it was great. Plan at least two days visit there as the museum is huge and it has so many nice and interesting sections.

Crowded as could be, but we still had an amazing time. My boys (7 + 10) absolutely loved it. Just the right amount of interactive exhibits & video to keep them from getting bored with walking around. IMAX was huge and National Park movie was well worth it. Cafe is pricy but I didn't mind considering the museum is FREE.... More
