Beautiful Memoral

This is a beautiful memorial. I actually visited it both during the day and night. I enjoyed the night time better.

The Jefferson Memorial is a really neat site honoring our nation's third president. Below the memorial itself are exhibits discussing the role Jefferson played in our nation's founding. The memorial itself is a bit out of the way, but the walk there offers some really gorgeous views of the DC skyline and is well worth it. If you're tired, you... More

Everyone, I mean everyone goes to see Lincoln. We did, too. But Jefferson just does not get the foot traffic. Do yourself a favor. See the Jefferson Memorial. It is gorgeous, grand and moving. What a tribute to this founding father. It is more quiet than Abe's place and, thus, has something very special about it. It was my favorite... More

This is an often over looked memorial as it is not directly near the others. However, it is stunningly beautiful and well worth a visit. I personally think it is most beautiful at night when it is all lit up

Readings Jefferson's quotes were especially timely in today's political reality. Probably the best memorial around the tidal basin, was great to see him standing through the columns from afar.

Great place to get grounded. Amazing views of the city. Quieter memorial as it is away from the hubbub of the city

In this Day and Age, with the NWO imposing its Agenda of Trade, Control, Complete Power, the words of Jefferson etched into stone now seem more than hollow. He did warn us thast Democracy is not automatic..that it's something that requires Work and Commitment..Don't you have a Football Game to Watch? Maybe , circle that man-made pond and read the more... More

This is an outstanding piece of marble architecture and although lovely during the day - it is even better when lit up at night.

In a cold night I decided to go to Jefferson Memorial. A beautiful walk, a beautiful place to watch the night through the columns of the memorial and read Jefferson's writing while the wind was whistling through. I have visited this memorial many times with daylight, dawn and sunset...a great place to think and dream
