There is very little quite as impressive as our nation's top court, which determines the law of the land. You can listen in to oral arguments when the court is in session.

Beautiful building with stunning architecture. We were unable to see the courtroom but we did visit the visitor center downstairs. A small informative. Museum was located downstairs.

I have been to Washington many times as we bring our 8th grade class annually, but I had never toured the Supreme Court. So without 40+ eighth graders in my group my wife and I were able to finally tour the building. It was well...More

I visited on a Sunday when the building was closed. However, the exterior of the building is absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful construction, amazing front door, fountains, statutes, etc. Worth a quick stop!

The property was closed on the day we visited, but the building is stunning. One of the benefits of visiting on a closed day was getting a photo on the steps all to yourself! Still a must see on capital hill.

With this and the Capitol building basically right next to each other, you can easily tour 2/3 of our federal government in a single afternoon! Lots of neat weird history in this building (like the exhibit on a former justice whose claim to fame was...More

I dragged my family to the Supreme Court because it's the pinnacle of our legal system, which pays my bills. While the building is impressive, they probably didn't find it as compelling as I did. We sneaked in just before they kicked everyone out and...More

We enjoyed visiting the Supreme Court building. We were not able to go in the court room but the history is just amazing in itself.

The line forms in the front plaza and it's very obvious where it is. And I although they generally start taking people at 9:30-10:00, I would plan to arrive to get your space in line much sooner. Space is very limited and... More
