    Awesome hikes with beautiful views!
If you want to escape the crowds of Zion national Park, this is the place for you! You can spend a half a day to a day in this park, hiking the various trails, seeing all of the beautiful scenery. Johnson’s Canyon was one of our favorite hikes! It took you to the beautiful Scout cave. Bring your camera to take lots of pictures! Also, make sure you do Jenny Trail. This is a very family friendly, short hike into a slot Canyon. This area is the habitat for the desert tortoise. We had fun trying to spot one.

Snow Canyon is beautiful - avoid Red Mountain "Resort" though!
Amazing place to hike and explore. Make sure to stop at FeelLove café in Ivins. A helpful warning - avoid the Red Mountain "resort" property for accommodations, they double charged our credit card, allowed staff members to steal items from rooms, and haven't answered our emails. Had to make a claim via our booking site and credit card provider. The area is gorgeous though. Amazing red canyon trails and beautiful sunsets.

Wish I had more time to spend
We drove through this beautiful park on the way from Zion to Las Vegas. What a stunner! For us, mid day was too hot to hike with no shade so we settled for a gorgeous drive , utilizing many of the pullouts. Would love to return to explore more

    Beautiful park
We rented ebikes and rode into the park. We stopped and hiked Jenny's Canyon first, a short hike up into a small slot canyon. Then we ride the bike trail up to the Petrified Dunes and hiked up into the dunes for a great overlook of the park. It was lots of fun scrambling over the dunes and exploring. We then turned back and rode the Red Sands trail to the end. After returning our ebikes we also drove up to the Cinder Cone and hiked to the top. It was a steep trail and tough in the heat.

Beautiful vistas of red sandstone, limestone and lava flows with many places to park, hike and take it all in. Some easy trails for casual hikers and some more challenging trails for more serious day hikers. Nothing too hard. Winding trails take you up to beautiful views that open in front of you.

STUNNING park. Teens loved it more than Zion in some ways. Well marked trails. Amazing views. Cool sand dune. Nice, uncrowded park. 100% recommend.

Since it was December, we had the park to ourselves almost. The hikes are short and memorable. We love Snow Canyon State Park at all times of the year. The views are so wonderful.

A beautiful campground at the foot of amazing red rock formations. Spacious accommodations and nice common areas. Access to trails of various skill levels, and a paved pathway suitable for a walk, run or bike. Very nice hot showers. The park rangers were knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and cheerfully answered all our questions.
