Beautiful. Fun. Perfect.

My husband and I went to Lake Powell to join 6 other relatives for a weeklong houseboating vacation. Three of us are in early 30s, one is mid 40s, two are in late 50s, and two are... read more

We visited Lake Powell during our stay at the town of Page as we had some time to kill. Not knowing that the entrance required a National Park Fee like all the other NP's and National Monuments, we were a little surprised when arrived at the entrance as we wanted to check out the marina and some of it's shorelines.... My husband and I went to Lake Powell to join 6 other relatives for a weeklong houseboating vacation. Three of us are in early 30s, one is mid 40s, two are in late 50s, and two are in late 70s. We got our houseboat from Wahweap Marina, and for a weeklong on water vacation with limited to no access to... More

If you are looking for a different vacation, without internet or cell phone distractions, and with something to do for everyone look no further. With our three adult daughters and two son-in-laws we rented the 54' Escape Luxury Houseboat with a 19' fishing boat and two double kayaks. We took water skis with ropes and life vests. Perfect time to... More

I visited Lake Powell when staying in Page. We had a spare day so decided to see Lake Powell. Beware that it is a National Park so there is a charge. There isn't much to do at the lake unless you take a boat trip. I was disgusted by a group of tourists who were sat on the beach, their... More

I have lived in Phoenix for most of my life and until recently had not been to this area (Powell, Havasupai, Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon). After traveling through Central and South America, and up through Alaska decided to stay close to home this year. For me traveling always seemed like to go far away is better. Im not sure how... This was one of the best vacations we have ever experienced. Loved everything about it. We rented a house boat with another family.....(kids were teenagers)....and wow...is all I can say. We all cried leaving on the last day...but I promise you I will do again. Is not the cheapest vacation....but everyone said it was the best. So well worth the... More

We wanted to have a seven-day family vacation aboard a 53' Adventurer with our adult daughters and our grandkids in early June. The boat we were given was at least 30 years old and worn out. After one day, the key to one engine jammed and could not be turned - with the engine running. We made it back to... More

The placid waters of Lake Powell are surrounded by soaring red cliffs and towering rock formations -it’s like experiencing the Grand Canyon -on water! And the place is huge -Lake Powell has 96 major canyons and almost 2000 miles of shoreline.  We rented houseboat and moored in Weatherill Canyon near Dangling Rope. An early Colorado River runner found a rope hanging from... More

Its near to antelope canyon so if you have time you should not miss this. We were there for about an hour. The view was amazing. Weather was sunny but very windy. We went to a picnic area but couldn't stand for long as it was too windy there. You need a national park pass to enter there.
