I don;t know where the previous writer went but it sure wasn't the Adirondack. The mountains may not be 14rs but they are definitely beautiful.

Bring good walking shoes, binoculars, water bottle. Very scenic mountain range. Beautiful views - hills, trees, stream. Absolutely breathtaking. Many hiking trails. Fresh air. The Aroma of pine is wonderful.

Tahawus Tract. Abandoned ghost town in the Adirondack mountains of New York. Circa 1847 (Blast furnace built) Very few buildings still standing but a beautiful drive through the spacious Adirondack mountains. Enjoy!
