I love this short hike through the Slot Canyon at dusk. One time we got out with the help of our Cell Phone lights as Sun went down. Trail is well marked, take water. My 16 year old son ran this Trail within 15 minutes...More

Walk the soft sandy path down first. Rocky and steep and long. Then turn right to the short slot canyon where star trek was filmed. The path out of the slot back to the car park is much easier. If you did it anticlockwise you...More

A little difficult at the beginning. It would be easier to start in reverse order and backtrack after one gets past the slot canyon if you have much difficulty in hiking, but this is certainly a fascinating hike. Bring a few bottles of water and...More

Highly recommend this hike with young children. It's pretty short, the kids can climb rocks, and the scenery changes throughout. Lots of photo opportunities. You'll see amazing colors, wild flowers, a mini arch, a slot canyon, and just amazingly colorful rocks.

This is a great, short trail. If it was longer, I would give it 5 stars. Very diverse scenery and rock patterns and colors. The slot canyon halfway through really makes this a great trail. At the end of the trail, just before the road,...More

With many needed breaks for pictures, the hike took us exactly 45 minutes. Awesome scenery, a must do when in the Valley of Fire

This is a really nice day trip with plenty to see and do. A word of warning, if you want to do the trail unless you happen to be an experienced hiker do know that there will be some climbing. Prepare well for the heat...More
