Lake was wonderful. Plants of fishing. No boating pressure. Hardly any houses on the lake since surrounded by national forests

The Baxter campground is our favorite. $21per night for a spot with water and electric hook ups. All are level and hard surface. Closest services are at Lampe. Stock up there before going in. Marina, boat ramp, and swim beach available.

We rented a pontoon boat and took our daughters tubing. The lake was not overly busy with boat traffic. The beach, park and lake were all very clean. Beautiful place to visit.
