Rabbit Hash is truly, one of my places on this Earth. I had long heard of it when I still lived up north of Cincinnati because in a very thriving "Americana/American Roots Music" scene that exists in the Greater Cincinnati region, Rabbit Hash is a prime spot for musicians who play such music in the area to perform shows with... I was a little confused when I read online that the Rabbit Hash General Store had live music on Sunday. I thought the place burnt down and was being rebuilt. I called and they explained they "set up shop" across the way in the "barn". So we went down to check it out. The place had a neat "vibe". Everyone... More

While I traveled here in May over 2 years ago I am so grateful I did. Beautiful place to drive to and just sit with no pressure to rush anywhere. Rabbit Hash is just a great place to tell others you traveled to and what you saw. All throughout KY are great historical markers that are educational and Rabbit Hash... More

The general store in Rabbit Hash was gutted by a fire, but the gathering hole next door was been transformed to replicate the store till it reopens. If you want to see a slice of Americana that you may never see again, take the ride down to beautiful Rabbit Hash. Right on the Ohio river about 20 miles from civilization,... More

As an avid Harley enthusiast, I have been visiting Rabbit Hash for nearly 30 years. On any given sun-drenched weekend day, it's not uncommon to find hundreds of bikes parked in and around the vicinity of the Rabbit Hash General Store. It's nothing fancy. Nothing flashy. Rabbit Hash is just a little "no stop light town" overlooking the Ohio River.... More

Like a step back in time to the old Timey general store! Full of items and antiques that will spark a nostalgic feeling. You're welcome to pull up a seat, sit a spell. The store owner was very nice and we enjoyed chatting with her. Frequented by motorcycle riders and live bands on the weekends. VERY COOL!!

We were at Big Lick and saw signs to Rabbit Hash so we decided to explore. IT was a drive but worth it if you like to visit very small historical towns. It also seemed to be a motorcycle destination. Rabbit Hash, next to the river, was an interesting historical place to have lunch, look at historical cabins and poke... More

The historical store burned down earlier this year. It is now operating in a barn, but they are selling various items along with classic soda and other sundries. Across the street is a winery and there is also a small museum attached. Go along the river road to see great views of the Ohio River and Indiana. They are planning... More

We followed signs to Rabbit Hash historical district, expecting to find a civil war era museum or something like that. What we found was the Rabbit Hash General Store and about 100 motorcycles lined up on the side of the road. We put our reservations aside and went into the store. It was very dark and dirty looking. All they... More

Visiting Rabbit Hash is like traveling in a time machine and going back in time. I recommend a visit during the week, because weekends can get very busy and to truly enjoy the visit I recommend when things aren't so hectic. Either way a visit here is very cool and a place I think all should see.
