At every turn the views are spectacular. The river is your constant companion throughout much of the drive along highway 55. This is not to be missed. Plenty of pull outs and places to stop including a suspension bridge. Just beautiful!!

North out of Boise on Highway 55 all the way to McCall , some of the most beautiful country anywhere. Most of the Payette is running down a narrow gorge, right next to the road. Many place to pull over and the class 3-4 rapids...More
