Nice trail with great views (especially at the end when you get a great view of Weaver's Needle). The trail does get crowded on weekends though so plan to walk behind/around people. It's about 4.7 miles RT.

Done this hike many times and it is always my favorite. It is a moderate hike and has beautiful scenery. Can't beat the view of the Superstitions when you get to the top.

We had a group of about 20 adults and kids start this hike in June before 7:00am. It is best to describe the hike as moderate until you reach the ascent to the Freemont Saddle where I would say that is a strenuous switch back...More
