When you are at Man O' War, the troubles of life are far away, and you can spend awhile in a secret, blissful paradise of wine and sun and food. Beautiful views, tasty food, delicious wine, friendly staff, and a pleasant hum of fellow patrons who feel the same way. The drive out from the main population centres of Oneroa... More

Will always return to this vineyard as it's such a beautiful place to sail to and in a reasonably sheltered bay from most winds. Lovely to sit on beanbags in beautiful surroundings sipping exceptional wine. Staff are very accommodating and were welcoming not only to us but also our toddler grandchild. After visiting here for several years, this year we... More

This place is very worthy of #1 thing to do on waiheke. Hire a car and head out along the dirt roads, it truly is a spectacular drive! Man o war is a gorgeous bay, bring your bathers and have a dip if it's warm. This place does cold beer, platters, food truck and vino. Lots of comments here on... More

Great views, stunning Rosè. Man O War is well worth visiting when on Waiheke. Friendly and inviting, try the platters and enjoy relaxing on the bean bags

Disappointing platter. Was expecting a lot more of a wine and dine experience in a casual setting as many people rave of this place. Was extremely disappointed. Sad looking platter to say the least, plate was half full, thanks for the two grapes-I guess it was a platter for 'two'.

Is this the real food truck or false advertising, we drove for miles for rubbish escargot that tasted like dirt delivered in tin foil, crime brûlée that was so running it was almost soup. No food truck signage this is not the authentic food truck shame on you for taking there custom food was absolute rubbish .

We stumbled across this place after exploring Stoney Batter with our kids and it was a beautiful place to relax and enjoy some local wine...Plenty of wide open grassy space for the kids to run around whilst we pulled up a comfy Bean bag and enjoyed a glass of wine and a tasting plate.

Visited Man O' War on a gloomy day but it was still very busy, a testament to its popularity. You can sit in the large grass area on the supplied beanbags or at one of the many BBQ tables with umbrellas. There are also seats and small tables on the verandah and another undercover seated area to the side. The... More

Buy a bottle of wine and bring some cheese to the beach. Platters are over rated and tiny. So many beautiful spots to create your own ambience in waiheke. DIY
