The town itself is a great place to spend downtown before catching the ferry over the Wellington . Slots of shops and parks on the South Island . We arrived early for loading and spent a good 90 minutes visiting the downtown . Lovely folks...More

Lovely views, great restaurants and so many historical attractions. Vibrant town centre and masses of visitors from all over the world. Hire a little boat or take an underwater dive trip.
