What a place to be! So serene and unspoilt, it is almost unbelievable. With the nearby wineries it makes a great experience. Loved it.

We had an amazing time yesterday, our skipper Julian was awesome , full of information, facts and fun. We saw dolphins 🐬 seals and local wildlife. We stopped off and walked around and took turns at delivering the mail. Highly recommended to all 😊

I did this 5 day walk and don't know why it is not more heavily advertised. Beachcombers will port your luggage to each campsite for free when you purchase a ferry ticket to Ship's Cove. So easy, so beautiful!

We had lovely views coming into Picton in the early morning. We had heavy rain later but would try a boat trip on a better day.

I dont want to leave. This place is beautiful. The blue waters, the marine life, the tiny little villages isolated from the world and only accessible by boat. I love it!!

The Queen Charlotte Sound is a spectacular entrance to the seaside town of Picton. We experienced this recently on the Celebrity Solstice cruise ship which was in Picton for a day. In and out of the Sound were spectacular views from all angles and the...More

Picton is a lovely place. We went on a boat trip round the Sounds, it is very beautiful. Saw some seals playing which was very cool:

Limited mobility, it is easier to see, and experience Picton if you tour by boat. We arrived in Picton coming on the ferry from Wellington ie North to South island.

The sounds are so beautiful, whether you are walking, cycling or on the water cruising, fishing or on a water taxi. If you come to NZ this is a must do location.

We did the walk after unseasonable wet weather and it was quite slippy in places (clay) it is very up and down but we thoroughly enjoyed it and if you walk a lot you will be fine and can take it at your own pace. We are... More

We stayed at the awful Brydon Accomodations in Blenheim, which I can't recommend! There were some nice wineries in the area, if I was returning I would look at one of those.
