Two friends and i recently completed the Boutique, 4 day, 3 night guided Queen Charlotte Walk, with the cosmopolitan Alex as our guide. Alex hailed from Wales but had picked up a rich mix of accents along the way. Wilderness Guides were very flexible, given one of our number couldn't walk on Day 1 or Day 3 due to health... More

My wife and I recently walked the Queen Charlotte Track. We chose the guided 4 day Boutique walk with Wilderness Guides. It was a fantastic experience made much more enjoyable by the attention to detail from Wilderness Guides together with the knowledge and expertise by our guide, Martyn. Nothing was too much trouble. Accommodation and meals in boutique lodges were... More

The Wilderness Guides arranged our accommodation, water transport, packed lunch and kayak. We walked the Queen Charlotte Track for 4 days, starting from Ship Cove and ending at Anakiwa. The views were breathtaking, and quite different on each day. We were very happy about the accommodation arranged. We stayed at 2 lodges and 1 hotel. The rooms all had beautiful... More

We booked this from Perth through NZ Walks (who are also excellent). Self guided 4 day/3 night walk of around 71kms. Accommodation was great, meals wonderful and the scenery superb. Steve and Di were great as well. Highly recommended and great value

We did our full day kayak and walk tour with Wilderness and were totally happy with what we experienced during the tour. Our guide was very experienced and helpful. The view of Queen Charlotte Sound from the kayak boat and from the track is spectacular. Definitively a must to do :)

Just back from a 5 day independent walk. Wilderness Guides organised our water taxis, accommodation and portage of our baggage. Could not have asked for better. Accommodation was fabulous. Furneaux Lodge, Punga Cove and The Portage. Highly recommend this company. Great knowledge at our briefing session before our walk. Thanks WG.

A small but professional unit , they did all they could to make the trip successful . We did the independent 4 day - would have appreciated more detailed track notes but otherwise very happy

We got some bikes from Wilderness guides to explore Picton's best new bike trail, the Link Pathway! Steve convinced us to take it instead of the Queens Charlotte track as it is move convenient and absolutely mind-blowing. He was 100% right! Steve knows the area like the back of his hand and is a gold mine of information. We would... More

Thanks Robin and Laura and good to hear you enjoyed the Link Pathway. It's great if you are looking for a fantastic bike experience near Picton. Come back and see us another time and do a ride on the Queen Charlotte Track as it's wonderful too. It's not a bad place to work! More
