This is an exceptionally late review (5 years late!). My wife and I were on honeymoon and this tour still has vivid memories for us. We arrived in Akaroa having organised nothing, straight off the plane. Ray was the only person on the pier, and...More

I took this tour from my cruise. I made arrangements with Ray by email prior to arriving and he was very friendly, trustworthy and helpful. It was very easy to find Ray and his yacht and we had lots of time to visit the town...More

This sail cruise in the akaroa harbour is a must. Ray our captain was very knowledgable, friendly and kind. He really looked after us and the trip was beautiful. Great scenery, seals, dolphins, penguins and mussel farms. We loved it.

To start with Akaroa is the most beautiful place to visit. The sailing boat trip is very special because the dolphins and penguins don't have to cope with an engine and they seemed to love that. We saw lots of them and we were even...More

Captain Ray is awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. He is very entertaining and extremely informative. I am still telling his stories back home. Spend an afternoon with Ray on his boat. You won't regret it :)
