My father and I visited Akaroa in Jan 2018 as part of a cruise. Apart from the many great cafes and restaurants there's many tours to go on. The best thing about Akaroa Jet Adventures is that its not just a standard 15 minute adrenalin...More

Based on very positive reviews we first made contact with Brett by email about 9 months before our arrival in Akaroa. Brett took our name & preferred time but did not want any payment at the time of booking. A phone call to Brett the...More

Fantastic and informative tour! The highlight of our trip to Akaroa and recommend to all others that wish to explore this stunning harbour. We saw seals, penguins, dolphins, lava caves and much more. Thoroughly enjoyed the boat spins too!

This was my second experience and I still loved every moment of it. Brett provides a safe, friendly and informative expedition. The caves and wildlife were the highlight (as well as the speed and spins). Highly recommended for those visiting Akaroa on a cruise ship,...More

I spent the entire 50 minutes grinning! The jet boat was fun and the 360 spins with exhilarating but the scenery and wildlife were the real winners! On top of that was the history of the places we were seeing :-) The guide was helpful,...More

We are disappointed to see such a bad review placed against us, however we can see the group's point of view. The owner of Akaroa Jet, Brett, was down at the back of the shop from 8am until 8:30am, getting jackets and equipment sorted for...More

We had been told to check in at the Akaroa Jet Boat by 11am. We arrived with a few minutes to spare to find that there were other people there hoping that we would not show up (so be on time). After checking in and...More

Brett who drives the jet boat is your quintessential laid back easy going likeable New Zealander. It's a one boat operation, not the newest or the flashiest around, but still capable of getting from one side of the bay to the other at a good...More

Just as others that have reviewed Akaroa Jet Boats, our family of 5 adults had a blast as a start to our day off the cruise ship. Booked independently and not through the Cruise Tour desk which was definitely cheaper. The location is just 100...More

It costs about $70 per person, and that's for the whole thing which is about 50 minutes. The cruise ship stops in the middle of the harbor and u have to take the small boats ashore. The jet boat place is a 5 minute walk from... More
