    Unique Waterfall
It is a unique waterfall inside a mountain. After a walk , you can either climb up to the waterfall or take the lift built inside the mountain. After reaching the top, you just hear gush of water flowing from inside the mountain.

Marvellous falls, but don’t bother if you have limited mobility
Amazing waterfalls inside the mountain. The power of the water is amazing. I have never seen anything like it before. Be aware there are lots of steps. There are various options. If you are very fit, you can walk all the way up to level 10 and then back down again. An easier option is to catch the lift up to level 6 then walk up to 10, this is where the most impressive falls are. This still involves a lot of steps. The easiest option is just to see from 6 downwards. Nice cafe and toilets at the base.

    Really incredible!!
This was a crazy find! We had a rainy day and found this by googling "things to do on a rainy day" and wow this was so fun!! It's not for those who are claustrophobic and you will get SO VERY WET (which is why this was a fine rainy day experience because who cares). We bought ponchos for $5 but if it was a hot sunny day you wouldn't need them. Anyway it's just incredible. There is nothing like it that I've seen elsewhere and the sheer volume of water was so loud it shook our whole bodies. It is dark and slippery and always feels like slightly dangerous - but that's part of the adventure.

    loud, cold, powerful
From Wengen, it’s a nice walk down to Lauterbrunnen and then to Trummelback Falls. I think it took us about an hour and a half, but we walked slowly. And the Falls are definitely worth a visit. They’re loud, cold, powerful and a sight to behold.

    Powerful falls inside a mountain
We enjoyed our visit to the falls. The water is powerful and impressive. We took the lift up and then walked to the upper falls. Short videos capture the experience better than photos. We found the price in both money and time to be well worth it.

    Impressive - Fun - Touristic
A fun 2 hour outing for me and my 3 kids (9, 10 and 11). The lift that takes you up is impressive and once up there the water falls show all their strength and power. Make sure you go up with a small jumper/wind breaker. Slightly too many tourists for my liking but very nice all the same. The biggest challenge is finding a place to park. No need to buy tickets before.

    Stunning and unusual waterfalls
These falls were phenomenal and definitely worth visiting, an absolutely fascinating and awesome experience! Having both the funicular and most walkways carved right into the cliff was so unusual and fun, and the thundering waterfalls throughout, with good access and viewpoints, were awe-inspiring. The floors were damp in places but never slippery, and there wasn’t as much spray as I expected. The views along the valley as you’re coming back down (falls 5-1) are also beautiful.

View the Amazing Power of Water
We made an unplanned stop at Trummelbach after a visit to the Schiltorn. It was unbelievable how much water was falling so late in the season and incredible to see the power of erosion over the centuries. Definitely worth spending an hour or more here. It was the quiet season when we visited, but the line for admission fees seemed long. It moved quickly and the elevator / viewing areas never seemed crowded. Note that the public bus was overwhelmed with tourists on the trip back to to Lauterbrunnen, so be prepared for that, or wait for another bus.

    Worthwhile Stop
My wife and I stopped here as we walked the Lauterbrutten Valley from Stechelberg to Lauterbrutten. Admission was 14 CHF. There’s a lift/tram that takes you higher in to the mountain. You walk up and down from there. They have 10 falls, most of which are pretty impressive. The water flows are quite powerful and the rock formations are also very interesting. We spent 30-40 minutes here and enjoyed it.

    Amazing views
We were stayed in Interlaken so decided to do a day trip to Lauterbrunnen as we wanted to see all the waterfalls in the valley. During our walk we came across Trummelbach falls and decided to see. There's a small entry fee which is very cheap in my opinion. It was very quiet inside the falls, only saw a few other people - but the most stunning thing I've ever seen. (This is also where my husband proposed!) There's a little cafe outside with nice pastries too!

We visited here on a rainy day, and it blew our minds the beauty, the power of the water and the craftsmanship that made it possible to go inside mountains so see this beauty is incredible. So worth the visit, 14 CHF for entry. We took the steps up rather than the lift which gave you the opportunity to witness the falls as you climb with little people around.

I have never in my life seen such horrible customer service. We came in on October 8 around 4 with a dog, had previously seen signs but just thought that it meant dogs had to be held on a leash. Nobody had said anything until one old man with a mustache came towards us, howling aggressively that dogs weren’t allowed. We told him we weren’t aware and he kept on screaming at us, even forcefully taking me by the shoulder to show me the sign. When we simply asked for a refund he refused, saying we had already purchased the tickets so someone had to wait outside. The lovely lady at the entrance was nice enough to reimburse us in cash. We left absolutely shocked and disgusted by the behavior this man had towards us. We understand the dog situation but that is no way to treat people. He claimed he’s worked there for 32 years, I hope that’s not the way he treats all visitors. Horrendous behavior for someone working in such a beautiful location. We’ll come back without the dog hoping we’ll have a better experience next time.

The waterfalls are amazing. Also, getting to the falls is easy on the local bus. Be prepared that there are A LOT of stairs.

This was within walking distance of our camp site, the sounds of the water cascading down was fantastic, a lot of steps 300+ but you can half that if you take the lift

Nice little cafe outside the entrance plenty of parking for Motorhomes
