Others have suggested that a visit here is an hour but I'd give yourself at least 2. While the falls are immediately impressive, it takes an hour or so for it to first sink in that what you're experiencing simply doesn't stop. There's no off...More

With all the waterfalls in the area I hesitated paying to see water flowing but it is definitely worth it. Use your visitor card for one Euro discount, cash only, and expect to get wet. Wish they would ban umbrellas though since it's crowded and...More

We visited on a very wet and miserable and were soaked before we got to the falls. We got the elevator up and then walked up to the 10th viewing platform. We took 2 9 year olds and a 6 year old, the 6 year...More

It was certainly a really neat experience to visit the Trummelbach Falls. We were told that it is a good rainy day activity, however you are still going to get wet as there are walkways directly outside. There are a lot of steps too (even...More

First of all: the attraction resp. the falls deserve 5 points but it is not just about that. Let's start at the beginning. The restaurant close to the entrance is a bit expensive (it is Switzerland). A Sandwich or the soup of the day sets...More

This is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. It's fascinating to see how the waterfall comes through the mountain. The entrance price is great value (especially by normal Swiss standards!). We went with our young children. I'm sure I saw a sign...More

This place as well worth the 11 sFr admission. I had not previously seen anything like it. You get a lift up to the middle section of the falls and then walk up lots of steps to the different viewing platforms for the different sections...More

This turned out to be the most memorable experience of our three and a half week holiday in Switzerland and the Italian Alps. Ten waterfalls crash their way through the inside of the mountain in an astonishing display of power as they drain the glaciers...More

The falls only took about an hour- 2 tops. So, I would imagine you could fit in Schilthorn the same day but I'm not sure hours. And I never went to Schilthorn so I'm not sure how long that takes. Keep in mind tram and... More

It is actually nearer to Lauterbrunnen. There are several walking options 3-5 hrs, or you can take the bus or your car from Grindelwald to Lauterbrunnen. From Lauterbrunnen it is a 45 min walk or a 15 min drive
