Walked out to Grenen and took the Sandormen back. Well worth the hike along the beautiful beach. Lucky to see seals sunbathing on the beach.

Went at sunrise, only a few people including a photographers. Absolutely my favorite place in Denmark. Something magical about two seas meeting, one on the left choppy and the other on the right calm. And as a bonus a seal appeared and then dipped back...More

a nice place in the north of Denmark if you want to see how people disrespect animals (seals) by touching and surrounding them taking pictures. there are enough signs to tell you to keep a distance of 15m but no one cares.

We were here on a very calm day. Although we could walk out on the sand spit. the clashing of the North Sea and Baltic Seas would be far more dramatic on a windy day. Take the Sandormen to the land spit. Nearer the welcome...More

Take the "sandormen" to the end of the coast and walk back. Enjoy a glass of champagne at the restaurant and enjoy the magnificent view.

A friend had recommended this walk, and we would like to come back some time. Nice walk on the long beach between the Skagerrak and the Kattegat seas. Best enjoyed if taking your shoes off when you get to the tip because of the waves...More

We go to Skagen every year and this is one of our favourite walks. You can drive from the town centre to the car park and even take tractor with trailer to the far point. However we normally ride our bikes to the car park...More

When in Skagen, it is well worth heading North to Grenen Beach and taking a ride through the dunes aboard a Sandormen (sand worm) to the very tip of Denmark where the waters of the Baltic and North seas meet! The beach is most attractive...More

Hi We drove up and found it a pleasant trip. We were in 2 motorhomes so a bit slower than a car. But worth it. Enjoy.
