Connection of the tower (tower) with fragments of the city walls. This is more or less what the town hall in Sandomierz looks like. Definitely different than in Wrocław or Poznań, which makes it even more interesting. Very nice, especially if you come across a wedding and photos taken by the stairs to the tower.

Standard, but one of the most beautiful buildings from the heyday of old Poland. It is somewhat similar to Tarnów and other cities, such as southern Jarosław near Przemyśl. It is pleasing to the eye and very much our Polish place. Sometimes there are exhibitions. When I was there, the SANDOMIER CONSENT was presented. It was a document about the cessation of at least official fights between Christians of different denominations.

A town of Sandomierz is a very popular destination in Poland, especially now since it is where "Ojciec Mateusz" (a Polish version of an Italian TV series Don Matteo) takes place. Ratusz (town hall) is a spectacular building, completely preserved (Sandomierz avoided any major destruction during WWII). One part of Ratusz was built around 1350, with a major extension added in 16th
century and the tower added in 17th century. Inside there are some town offices (people get married there) and there is a Regional Museum there, also worth visiting.

Just in the middle of the old town. Surrounded by restaurants, worth to wonder around for a while.

Sandomierz is one of most beautiful cities in Poland. There are many restaurants (one is hidden under Town hall), old buildings and places with souvenirs.

Situated in the central square is also the end of the city's underground maze. Probably the most touristic sightseeing venue in Sandomierz.

The town hall, like most in Poland, is in the market square dominating the city. It is mainly from the 16th Century. Today it is used for weddings and houses a museum.
