You can't fall off for €10. Just a relaxing hour up and down the river taking in all the sites. We actually did an Old Town tour (free) the previous day so we recognised all the landmarks

We took this narrated boat tour yesterday. The narration came through an app in a half a dozen languages including English. The pros: the boat was clean and the route was interesting. The cons: -the app got interrupted often -half of the time it played...More

After a frantic days sight seeing, good to relax and see the city and the river from a different perspective. Trip takes an hour is but pricey at 18€.

From the canal you enter the river and then the Baltic Sea. History from a different angle and you can see the opposite bank development.

There are many different options for taking a cruise on the canal, and they can be a bit pricey. Most of them offered rides for 20 euros a person for a hour, but when they get close to the scheduled time for leaving if the...More

The cruise itself is nice and you see Riga from a bit different perspective. However, you sit on the side of the boat, so you cannot easily look around and there is absolutely no commentary. So whatever is around you worth noticing, you must dig...More

Our first day in Riga we walked towards the Old Town around the canal. Young lady stopped us with an offer to take an one hour cruise on a smaller boat for Euro15 per person (usually Euro 18). We waited about 15 min and then...More

The cruise is nice, but you don't get ANY information from the guide. The guide spent his whole ride on his phone, and chatting to his friend. He didn;t tell us anything about the city and what we are seeing. I would reccomend other provider,...More

The boat has a quay near the back of the Opera house - on the opposite side of the road. You can buy tickets there. We found the "old tram" was fun too and it has a stop nearby.
