One of, ooh so many, fine buildings in the area. The guilds were obviously very rich... Looks like a medieval castle.

This magnificent, although smallish building, is smack bang in the midde of the old city so cannot be missed. Every time we walked past we stopped to have a look, again and again. Lovely to see.

Worth a wander past to get a photo. Its an interesting building. The history behind the guild is also worth finding out about.

I did not notice this on previous walks as there are so many lovely building, but today in the old town I saw what looked like a castle which I later found out was from the mid 1800’s. Although is not open to the public...More

Make sure you walk to this building when in Riga! It's on a very pretty square and it is definitely worth a detour to look at it.

It is a very pretty building in Old Riga. We did not go inside but it looks like a miniature castle from the outside.
