ART NOUVEAUX, ARTS AND CRAFTS, MODERNISM... it doesn't matter how to call it, Riga is plenty of lovely buildings that keep hidden secrets in its architecture details. Is it worth to walk through its streets with your eyes well opened, always there will be something nice to capture your attention.

Lovely cafe with art nouveau style glasses and crockery. We didn't eat there but other people's looked good. Nice coffee, friendly staff and good music. Not too pricey given the area.

A trip to Riga is not complete with a visit to the Art Nouveau district to see the amazing architecture. Some of the buildings are stunning and a few hours wandering around the area taking it all is well worth it.

The art nouveau quarter is a must-see for anyone interested in architecture . It is better to visit it in a sunny day. Most of buildings are designed by Mikhail Eisenstein. The district is very close to city center.

I must say that I loved Riga.Apart from being a beautiful city and having very friendly people it`s absolutely essential to walk along Albert street because you will see the most fascinating facades of houses , which in most cases were designed by the architect Eisenstein. The imagination he has put in the decoration is fabulous, you can see faces of... More

The art nouveaux district was an easy walk from our hotel and well worth the trip. There are many beautiful buildings to enjoy, with more details at each glance.

Our tour guide (from Free Walking Tours) was knowledgeable, informative, and friendly. The art nouveau neighborhood provides a fascinating glimpse of a long-past era with signs of new energy that respects its grand character throughout.
