We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to St. Peter's church. Our primary objective was to go to the tower. The visit to the church was ok, however the tower is a must to view Riga from above.

A Great church at Riga old town, entrance fee was 3€, pay 9€ if you like to go up and see views. In the church you see som e modern art. An original Rolanda statue is in the chuerch.

Impressive Lutheran church in the middle of old town. Imposing exterior. Has a viewing platform to get a scenic view of Riga

The church is very nice, but we went there for the tower to see the whole city. With 9€ per person this was quite expensive, even quite expensive for Cologne Dom standards. The view from the tower presents you the whole city.

I belong to a choir and on my visits was looking for potential venues for a 40th anniversary tour in 2019. Smaller than the Dom, but much more intimate especially for a small group. No distance from the centre.

Well worth the price of admission for a trip to the top of the church for a spectacular 360 degree view of Riga. There is a lift to the top (we’d been prepared to hike up the stairs.) The church itself is beautiful and well...More

This brick built church is dramatic, with its origins in C13. It forms the centre of the Riga skyline. It is possible to go up the tower, at extra cost

How often have you been in a large brick church? The construction is unexpected, and the soviet art inside even more-so.

Beautiful church but you need to get tickets to to go in. Also it's an active church so can be uncomfortable to look inside when there are people actually praying and service in progress. From outside it looks very tall. If you are in Riga...More
