Beautiful architecture, easily noticed from far away. The interior is quite plain. The tower can be visited and offers great view over Riga.

Unfortunately the view from the spire was denied to us as the elevator was closed "for technical reasons". The church itself if very plain and we were disappointed. However, we did get our panoramic view of the city from the Radisson Blu hotel which was...More

An interesting unadorned interior, with the best bit being the view from the tower (dont throw your children off or sit on the ledges it helpfully advises). There is a charge for the lift, which I was happy to pay. If you want a higher...More

The church is majestic and imposing and absolutely worth a visit inside and to the top. Very clean and not too much showy

This church is majestic. The 9 euro payment was worth it, esp. when you reached the area for viewing the whole Riga city. I love their display of the old stones - a part of the church, also, the display of their traditional clothes. And...More

Outside the Church is beautiful. Inside is like a museum with everything exposed around the church. The entry is not free.

This church looks more impressive from the outside than the inside. I peeked inside and found the interior to be fairly unadorned with red brick, so there are much prettier churches and cathedrals to see around Riga than this one. But I didn't realise one...More

Must to do in Riga, see the magnificent view from the top and there is: All Riga. You should by a ticket which is 9 Euro and go to the top.

For only 9 euros, you can go to the top of the spiral for a fantastic view over the red roofs of old town and across the River Daugava. This Gothic Church is the centerpiece of Riga’s skyline.
