It is a very tall monument from the time of Riga’s (Latvia’s) first independence before the Soviet take over. 3 gold stars held up by a lady with large figures at the bottom.

Interesting monument not far from Sky Bar. Happy to get to see the changing of the guard. Time your visit to see the change. Only lasts a couple minutes.

I have walked to natinal museum and found this freedom monument on the way back to town hall. It was nice weather and big square , worth to visit
