For 5eur you get a good view to Riga. Elevator takes you up and down and there are toilets available on the top. Elevator doesn't go all the way to the top though, you have to walk two floors after that. Located a few minutes...More

We went here on a cold and snowy December evening and were the only people there. It offers great views of the city and beyond. Just warned that you get the lift up 15 floors then have to walk the last two flights of stairs.

This is a good place to have a nice view of Riga and the surrounding area. With 5 Euro entrance much cheaper than the church (9 Euro) and the view is even a bit better. We were there in the evening, which was first spooky....More

It's a nice city which some really beautiful buildings so this is a great way to have a different view point. It was quiet when we went there and a straight forward trip to the top, a much easier process compared to most observation buildings...More

great views of Riga. Lost one star because of the rather steep entry price, otherwise well worth doing, particularly if you are also visiting the nearby Central Market.

The building is similar in appearance to the Empire State Building in NYC only shorter. Quite a bit shorter in fact. Still, it does offer great city views from the observation deck on the 17th floor. It is located in the Moscow District so there...More

Ride the elevator up, walk down! Since there is a building height restriction, views from the observation deck are great. And, the descriptive boards on each four sides were very useful. A few nice picture boards about Riga's history were also interesting. Yes, there is...More

Excellent view from top of this building, worth the cost although there are plenty of shopping centre and restaurants who have skyline bars where you can go freely in the Summer.

Hi, I found information that it's open every day on web page Live Riga. But I think you should ask direct at the page Latvian Academy of Science, they have an email and they should give you real answer :-)
