Great View from the tower

I paid 9 € for the tower fee. The view up there was amazing. You can see 360 degrees panorama view from the tower. However, the tower is closed on Monday.

First time in Riga and just for a few hourd of Cruise ship The church is easy to find and the view from the top is soo worth it - forget about small cover charge - it's a church and you would spend that amount in a bar!

A great view of Riga even though it was windy and really cold up there and we had to wait quite a lot for the elevator to bring us down. Therefore take warm clothes with you and a powerful zoom for your camera to fully enjoy it.

Great view but 9 euro? Please... It was freezing the day we came, so ten minutes (till the next elevator) was the max we could stay in the small visitor platform. The church is very simplistic, but the price is steep unless you want to donate some money to the church. The Radison hotel has a view from the 27th... More

The view from the top of the tower is breathtaking, definitely worth heading up. But wrap up warm....its significantly colder and windier than the pavement below!!

Fantastic 360 degree view of Riga. I do think it is slightly expensive, however it is only a few quid. Not going to change your life but probably will help the church a lot. Definitely worth a visit as there isn't a great deal to do in the city. It is a very cool city tho and people are great

I would give 5 stars for the views, which are amazing, and it's possible indeed to see the old town and get views (and pictures) of places that are otherwise difficult to see from street level due to narrow streets or trees blocking the view (i.e. Orthodox Cathedral). On the day we visited (May 6) it was not very cold... More

Maybe I have climbed too many towers... anyway this one is not for free - and funding is of course vital for a huge church. The elevator experience is a bit "soviet-era"...
