The view is incredibly beautiful Riga. You can use student card to have €1 discount. There are not interested things in particular except view from the top. The liftman that we met is quite rude. There is no guide or information provided to visitors.

St Peter's has undergone an impressive restoration programme that includes a lift to the viewing platform (protected) in the tower. All the essential sights of the Old Town can be seen from here and it is very useful for orientation.

Parts of old Riga are attractive but not enough to provide a really worthwile view. Access is fairly easy but not for people who have mobility restrictions as there are several steps to climb to the lift

I appreciate its history and renovation and the views were impressive, but I felt it did not warrant 9 Euro entrance fee. (5 euros more acceptable. I was disappointed even that it was a lift ride to the top.

The frozen river, the sun piercing through the bitter cold. What a stunning view over the baltic city of Riga. A must visit whilst in Riga, some free tours also leave the front of the church if you do your research. Have a great holiday!

It costs 9 Euros to go up the Tower which includes entry to the church as well. You get in a very squeaky lift to the top. It is worth it as you get great views of the Old Town and across the River. It can get a little windy at the top

Jumped at the occasion of the sun breaking through the clouds and went for the viewing balcony on top of St Peter's church. 9 euros will get you up a squeaking elevator to amazing views. Definitely splurge on this if the weather is good!

Paid €9 per person to go up a lift to the viewing platform. The rest of the church was closed so this was all we got. That said the view was lovely and you probably won't get another like it elsewhere.

It's a lift to the top with some really great views of the Old Town. Watch out for the wind it can be extremely chilling. It costs 9 Euros to go to the top so might want to consider the cheaper Latvian Academy of Science tower which also gives great views at a cheaper price, however that's not in the... More

It's a bit obvious but go up the tower on a clear day. Cost is 9 euros, this is for the tower and the interior , pricey by the standards of similar attractions.
