This Museum is a house which has been renovated and brought back to its former glory. To visit it is like stepping back in time. An absolute delight.

It's small and interesting as well set out as a family home. There were good exhibitions with good explanations. The entrance hall stairwell is breathtaking.

I liked the idea that the custodians were dressed in 1920th dresses to match the apartment. I was particularlr drawn to the glasswinows with their flowers.

Beautiful apartment with authentic furnishing, fixtures & decoration, with staff on hand to explain. Large basement display shows full range of craftwork with detailed background. Surrounding area unique in its range of architecture.

Don't forget to look up when you have passed through the front door of the building, and before entering the pay lobby, to see the impressive spiral staircase which is a true masterpiece, and certainly more stunning than any of the rooms in the apartment...More
