Be advised that the map here doesn't show the actual location of this statue, the real location is next to the canal by the Latvian National Opera. Other than that it is a nice sculpture, worth taking a look.

When out walking we came across this lovely sculpture of a former mayor, wife and do, near the canal and it is very impressive. Evidently a tribute to the mayor of the early 20th centre .

This is a nice sculpture next to the Canal to honour the mayor. I think would look better in the spring or summer. Wouldn't go especially looking for.

Thank Mel J
