Just opening for the season when we visited. Plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from and I would think it's busy in the season. We had lunch for three at one of the open restaurants and it was fine.

This is the most popular street for tourists in Jurmala. Seaside very close to it. A big number of small restaurants with different kitchen and reasonable prices

Russians in the street, Russian music blasting from the speakers of each café or restaurant. If you are for that sort of thing, this place is perfect for you. Wonderful art nouveau wooden architecture is drowned by this "new wave"

This is the must see street, full with shops, restourants and lovely architecture. Easy to reach by train from Riga. Be sure to check out the sight platform locatet in the park nearby!

It is a good place to have a walk. Unfortunately for as rain has begun and we have to speed up. There are a lot of cute buildings during you walk which will be a great background for your photos.

We visited in the snow so can only imagine the hive of activity in the summer. The street is s mixture of restaurants and shops with some craft vendors wooden cabins also along the street. Some of the old wooden buildings have seen better days

This street is very cute to stroll down. There are lots of little shops and restaurants along the way. We visited in November so it was quite cold but the street was still great. I imagine it's very busy in the summer.

It's the main hub of Jurmala. There are a variety of shops and cafes available plus some wooden huts selling goods. Some tat, some decent stuff. No hard sell. Favourite bit for me was some members of the older generation selling their produce - fruits,...More

Jomas is the main drag through Jurmala. If you're taking the train from Riga, go all the way to the Majora stop and walk about 2 blocks to the street and then head north. Jomas is lined with cute shops and restaurants, a few are...More
