Visited on a walking tour of Old Town. The church is notable for its classic Russian “onion shaped” spires. The Church has services for the Russian population. There are no seats inside. Churchgoers stand for the 1.5 hour service. Women all had their heads covered. There are women serving in a small shop selling religious items. No photos are permitted inside the Church.

This church was built during the occupation of Estonia, and while tourists love to see this for its architecture, it represents an un-free time period for the people of Estonia. This is a prime piece of land in the old town as well and the church is visible from everywhere. Inside is beautiful but the history (a good local tour guide will help! I am going from memory and hope I have it correct) makes touring this building very poignant.
