The first thing I wantede to know about "Kumu" is who is the designer of the building, because that person managed to create a monumental museum space in a historic area, oposite of the presidential palace without destroying the charm of its neighbourhod. The Finnish...More

Museum has a good collection of Estonian art, which is not so know even in neighboring countries (Finland). Architecture and atmosphere in museum is also nice. One of the best places to visit in Tallinn!

Large art museum in couple of kilometers from town center, easy to find in villa area. Good rotating exhibition in place now - Die Brücke and Der Blaue Reiter Expressionists. Reval Cafe offers tasty bakery and pastry, but service is very slow - unfortunately.

Great building with an incredible layout but the art is not exceptional. It has some interesting history and local art which is nice to see. Mostly good for a rainy day if you've already see all of old town and want to head to this...More

I am a big art fan, and go to the major art galleries everywhere I visit. I hadn't heard of KUMU before I visited Tallinn but I was incredibly impressed - it is an outstanding art gallery, up there among some of the biggest names...More

This modern looking building can be a bit confusing to navigate. You start on the second floor where you get your ticket, and there is a cloak room, free lockers and toilets. The permanent exhibits are on the third and fourth floors, with the fifth...More

KUMU is a fantastic place to visit. Set in the elegant surroundings of Kadriorg Park. It makes for a great day out whether individually, or with friends and family. The first impression is of the dashing modern architecture, which sets the scene for some really...More

I was there on Friday 13th October 2017. The lower floors are really interesting, lots of artists I only knew very vaguely. Impressive works. The architecture of the building itself is modern and unique. It's a trifle difficult to find your way around. Top Floors...More

The building itself is impressive on its own, and the exhibitions are amazing. Each floor is different but the most interesting one was with thr one with socialist art. We spent almost an hour and a half here. We didn't book a tour but it...More

You can either take tram 1 or 3, or walking along the beautiful coast line, which is my favorite route. The art museum is located in the vicinity of the old royal Summer residence, which is a fascinating art museum itself!
