About
The view from Tallinn TV Tower is unique in Estonia as well as in all of Northern Europe. Under your feet are the woods of Muuga. The captivating Tallinn Old Town and the glistening Baltic Sea in all of its majestic glory are off in the distance. When Estonia was still behind the Iron Curtain, this was for many Estonians a window on the free world - at night one could even catch sight of the lights of Helsinki. To illustrate the view, visitors can use multimedia screens: to increase the area visible in it or seeing what the place looked like in the past. It is a view that must be seen. And - experienced! Bus information: The TV Tower is served by city buses 34, 38 and 49 ("Teletorn" stop), as well as by CityTour and City Sightseeing tourist buses (green line, Mere pst - Teletorn). Handicapped-accessible.

Excellent views of the surrounding countryside and the sea with Tallinn in the distance. Excellent indoor views plus glass floor areas dotted about. The floor has activities for young kids as well as a vr experience at an extra cost. Good outside viewing area and small openings to take clear pictures of the views. You can also see the place where, if you are brave enough, you can arrange to walk on the edge in a harness. Not for me! Lovely views of the greenery down below and distant coast line areas.

Nice cafe and restaurant area here too. Plain and simple but some nice cake treats and coffee. Excellent gift shop with a lot to tempt you. Enjoyed the simple history section on the lower floor too with loads of photos and interesting info on the construction. They also had a stained glass exhibition area. Good staff too.

Can be reached by hop on and off bus and normal bus. I went via Uber. Not bad price.

This is a little out of town but worth the trip. There is plenty of parking and the site is handicap accessible. An elevator takes visitors up 27 floors to a viewing gallery. The whole countryside is at your feet. This is also an exhibit hall. Not only does this site have importance architecturally, technically, but also historically. This is a place of national pride as the broadcasting crew was able to keep messages going during a siege. This is a place of heroes. One wonders how such a small country had the funds to invest in such an impressive monument.

This tower is amazing. The food was great and the view was fantastic. The best part though was the staff. The server was one of the best servers I have ever experienced, he was friendly and went above and beyond for us. If you are in the area, this is a must.

I've been to the Teletorn twice: once during the day and once in the evening (for a discounted price). In the evenings, the exhibitions and shop are closed, and you don't get a free welcome drink as promised. During the day, everything is open and the experience is far more enjoyable.

If you want to look at the landscape of the city, then Teletorn - tv tower - is the place to visit. I think it's great for children as wall as for adults. The best season for visiting may be summer or autumn, cause the nature is alive and everything around is so colorful.

I came from the United States but I was taken to your café by an Estonian who is from Viljandi. We so enjoyed the wonderful meals we had. And we had delightful service from George who had a very gracious smile and was an extremely accommodating server. And of course the view was great. But frankly I’d go back just to be welcomed by George and have such great food.

Bit of a bus ride out but worth it. Good souvenir shop. Exhibition on the viewing platform explaining the tower but also another which changes. This one was science and biology. Good cafe and can go outside too.

I was blown away by this, expecting it to be like all the other towers i have been to but this was so much more! For starters, the gift shop was so cheap and sold local items and put money back into the community. There were loads of interactive things for adults, children and families and loads of really fun educational things too! You have an hour limit at the top and i thought, pah, ill be down in 20 minutes but no! I spent the whole hour up there enjoying myself! Oh, and as someone who is terrified of heights, it is totally fine!!! :)

If you want to have a good afternoon out and then this is a great place to go, With a 7 euro entry fee it's well worth a visit, with some amzaing view and a nice tower top restuarant.

It's very modern and has clearly had some money pumped into it to make it a very pleasing site to visit, you can even record your own news clip and broadcast it on their site and email it to yourself.

I would highly recommend a visit to this attraction, it's only 1 bus route from the city centre and worth every penny.

Happy Travelling

Since we were on a cruise we did not have much time in Tallinn. We did not plan on seeing the TV Tower, but after a few beers my bf had to go to the bathroom really bad and we had to get off the "Hop On Hop Off" bus that takes you throughout Tallinn. Problem was the TV Tower is far from the main city and the bus did not frequently go out there, so we were stranded for a few hours.

We must have waited an hour to go up the tower. They have a set number of people that can go up the tower and once people come down the elevator, they let the same number go up. Once on top there are a lot of computers and things for kids. The views are amazing. After about 15 mins though we were done and I don't know if it was worth the hour wait.

My suggestion would be to visit the TV Tower as early as possible, especially if you are showing up from a cruise ship and don't have much time. That way hopefully there is no hour+ wait. Then make your way back to Old Town where everything by then should be open.
