Some things were great fun. You can fly on a plane simulator, shoot down planes with a machine gun, go on a trip in a yellow submarine. However, these were games that did not have much of an educational component. While they did present us with a lot of information, they were mostly done through texts which were not particularly... Very interesting museum with many unusual exhibits, interactive stands and real submarine! You can visit this submarine and see with your own eyes as it is arranged inside.

This museum contains excellent collection of historical artifacts and naval equipment, including soviet battle ships. Also it contains a submarine which is open for visiting. All exhibits are in perfect condition. The collection of ancient wooden boats is very interesting. I was impressed by the information about Estonian people, who crossed a Baltic sea during Second World War, using small... More

We loved the marine museum. There is a submarine and you can go inside and get a first hand experience what it was like to be inside one. That was really cool and have to say that it was our favorite. The whole museum is a one big hall where you can see the exhibit from two different hights. Second... More

Brilliant design. Flight simulators, an actual Soviet WW2 submarine, an icebreaker parked out the back, lots of hands-on stuff in a stimulating and creative environment. I usually hate museum but this was very different. Give it a go, especially if you've got kids, or you're going with one big one.

What a great and interactive museum. Even without kids you can enjoy different activities that help you introduce the sea life, submarines, mines...

I loved visiting this modern museum in Tallinn. You can explore a real submarine, see examples of naval guns, ice yachts, a viking exhibit and quite a bit more. The layout is great. You can also explore some old navy ships in the harbour and walk through an old steam powered ice breaker. One of the highlights of the city... More
