Amazing 360 view of Tallinn once you get to the top. The steps aren't terribly difficult but I wouldn't suggest it for someone who has stability issues or cannot walk long distances (there isn't many resting places on the way up). Definitely worth the 3€

The climb up the church tower is well worth the time and energy. The steps are relatively uniform and there is space to pass people who are going the opposite direction. There is a nice stopping point about half way up to rest. Once at the top, the views of the old city are very impressive. You can see various... More

Great views of the old city of Tallinn! Wonderful opportunity for taking photos! But remember it is a long way up the spiral staircase to the top!

A simple church interior (free entry) with a fabulous tower. A small entry fee to climb it. You need to be fit to get to the top as it is further than it looks from the ground and there is only one place to rest very near the top. Thankfully they have fold down seats for oldies like me! At... More

Of you can climb the steap stone stairs up to the top of the tower you should absolutely do it! You'll be elevated 60 meters above the ground and have a perfect view of most of the city. But be aware, it is high up and the pathway around the tower is narrow. The mediaeval church is a wonderful example... More

The long climb up to the top of this church tower is worth every step. It's not an easy climb, but the panoramic views that await when you get to the narrow platform at the top of the tower are truly magnificent. Entry was three euros in April 2017, a bargain compared to some museums and sights in the city,... More

The view is nice. However there is no lift/elevator, so you have climb medieval stairs: high and uneven stairs, very narrow. It is open only during Aprill- October, due to weather conditions.

We weren't planning on going in as we were heading back to the ferry, but I'm glad we took the time as it was very beautiful and peaceful inside. Not ostentatious or over the top, but the light whitewashed walls, wooden pews and rustic stone floors coupled with the large brass chandeliers and overhead roof supports were simply classic.

If you want to have a view to Tallinn old town Oleviste church tower is a great place to go. It is open only in summer times though. The climb is over 200 steps and the stairs get very very narrow higher you go, so I don't recommend this place to claustrophobics or people who are afraid of heights. You... More
