Oleviste kirik/St. Olaf's cathedral was the second highest building in medieval Europe for many years. You can climb up to the tower and see Tallinn old town like a postcard. The climb is long and stairs are narrow, but like many towers in Tallinn, it...More

It was war damaged and has been rebuilt in a more spartan Lutheran style but still very interesting. If you are fit climb the tower but it is still worth visiting

Bit of a climb for the good view from this tower but well worth - inside of the church is VERY bare - 3 Euro for the tower.

The tallest tour, but not the highest point; but like the Rockefeller in New York a perfect place to see all the great stuff Tallinn has to offer. Worth the climb, but a bit of an effort!

St Olav's church reaches over 400 feet high and it's the city's biggest medieval structure. The church's interior is rather modest but it's still very lovely. Entrance to the church is free but it costs a couple euros to climb to the top of the...More

It is an average church. You wont miss much if you do not see it. Much better places in Tallinn to explore.

A high climb on a narrow staircase built more than half a millennium ago will reward you with excellent views of Tallinn. There's not much room going up or down, and people will pass both ways, uncoordinated (is it 60cm wide? 70?), safety is low...More

The church itself is nothing special I guess, but the thing you must do is climb the tower. Not the easiest thing to do, but doable and worth it :) You will love the view from the top.

Not being a fan of churches the only reason I went there was for the view and I certainly wasn't disappointed. This is without doubt the best view of the city you can get. The TV tower is higher of course but it is way...More
