Visiting this requires a cab -- the train leaves you off about a mile away from this solemn and holy place -- but it's worth the ride. It's a reminder of the damage of hatred and evil that nations can (and should not) engender.

Small yet very informative, staff is very kind. Recommend to visit for anyone with Jewish background. Lovely exhibition of such a difficult subject.

Rating this Museum “poor” doesn’t make the subject matter any less important. Few things are more important in my book than remembering the Nazi Holocaust against the Jews - it’s just that this place does it so poorly. The building is small, old and tatty....More

The best documentation of events and killing of Jews during WWII in Lithuania. The amount of info was astounding from survivors and perpetrators.

It is open 9-5 every week day and 10-4 Sundays. It does not open Saturdays.

I can only reinforce previous answers. Can't remember exact cost but not expensive. You could get around quite quickly of you were time limited. I'd say not worth visiting if you have less than an hour ... Two hours... More
