Old, warn down, gloomy and crowded place with lot of corridors. The 50 m swimming pool and almost empty for those who like swimming. External, thermal pools (water temperature around 30C and 36C) are very crowded any time of day. Steam sauna (only one there) about 3 square meters is fully packed (I have counted 15 persons there – most of them standing due to lack of space). There are about 3 slides for kids, few Jacuzzi places, pools for infants and small children (those ones are good equipped for having fun for kids under 12). There are some restaurants with reasonable choice of food for those who wish to stay there big part of day. Actually, only families with children under 12 would find this place worth staying for longer time and paying such high entrance price. All others, please consider Tatralania!
You need to have your own towels with you (they don’t provide any)

Just visited the place, extremely huge crowd, and very expensive compared to the number of pools.
Worst policy with wellness area: you can enter only once during the whole time, and you are charged 13 euros! Nice saunas but once I came out to check the children, I couldnt go back even I paid for it! No information given in advance!
Dirty changing area. Ridiculous hair dryers, adult women standing up on the chairs to reach them.
Not worth the money at all, really sad experience.

We visited Aqua City as family up to 10 people regularly because this is the only place under High Tatras of it's kind. We go since it was opened so for some 15 years or more. The service is gradually degrading but what we experienced last time was out of this world. For the first time I lost the chip from my arm. The staff asked me to pay 85 Euros accusing me of deliberately loosing the chip so I did not have pay for food and drink that I could have consumed. I refused to pay because that was not true and also I lost the chip on the water slides where it clearly did not with withstand the increased physical forces. The staff called the manager who told me that I can not put the device on my hand properly, that their chips would have never fallen off of anyones hand. He told me that we have broken a contract with AquaCity and that we have to leave. Insane.

Massive disappointment! Would not recommend to anyone after our poor experience today finished with a manager shouting at us. After our arrival, we were let down by the facilities being worn out and dirty and our experience only got worse from there. The main food court smelled of cigarette smoke as a smoking area was right next to it. We queued for food for over 50 minutes with only 1 out of 2 tills being used, to only learn that we were not able to purchase anything as the till broke. After leaving the cafe hungry, we passed an additional bar which we noticed was selling pancakes. Our disappointment continued there as we ordered 2 Nutella pancakes and had to wait again for more than 40 minutes to finally get them. There were two girls, who were lovely and trying their best to deal with the demand but seemed a little unsure and overwhelmed. The place was clearly poorly managed as they were running low on ingredients, struggling with serving customers, preparing food and drinks, and cleaning the area all at the same time. This is when we first encountered the manager. He came over and asked the staff if everything’s going well, when it was quite obvious they were struggling. After a quick check, he left providing no immediate support to the staff. When leaving the facilities, we mentioned some of the issues we experienced and were advised to speak with the manager. The manager was extremely rude, offensive, and unhelpful after we tried to share with him some of the issues we experienced. I say tried because he was constantly interrupting us, raising his voice and defending the poor service we received, whilst being offered no explanation nor an apology. There’s a plenty of SPA facilities in the region and would recommend most of them over this place! Please avoid if you don’t want your holiday or trip to be ruined.

We payed for aqua&wellness-nobody at cash told us before that we can’t go to wellness zone with child under 13 years old. Probably we could read that before on all papers full of rules, but thought that we can save time on reading that, and all necessary information cash worker need to give us,if she sees that we are with small (2 years old) child. After workers just say that we can leave child to kids zone, where they will be watched-no trust for that and not for all that’s applicable. When we asked why nobody told this when we bought tickets, answer was that we didn’t asked! 😳 So be sure before that you ask all questions. So we spend + 20€ for wellness, we didn’t use that and nobody return us money. Workers was not polite, when we waited for manager they spoke in slovakian about situation and said not nice things about foreigners who are coming there (they didn’t know that I can understand slovak language ). Maybe you should write that Aqua Poprad is just for Slovakian people if you have problems with foreigners.
There is lot of corridors and walking from one side to other. Pools are good for kids over 120cm. For smaller ones they are too deep and not activities for them. Only one not so deep outside kids pool and it was dirty and with bad floor condition.
Also other places where dirty!

Good luck for people who work there.
Not coming again and not suggesting someone.
There are better places in Slovakia.

We were deeply disappointed with our experience at this spa center. The organization of the spa is poorly thought out, especially for those who are only visiting for wellness. The staff is unable to explain things properly in English, and the information on the website contradicts what the staff says. Moreover, the staff is very rude.

Towels are not included in the price, and you only get a sheet (the only clothing allowed there) upon request. According to the logic of the spa center, visitors should walk from the changing rooms to get a sheet, passing by other people and children in the pool area, completely naked.

On the positive side, there are many different saunas.

Getting in was a nightmare as hotel guests from the Aqua city riverside. Staff extremely rude on the gates.

Disappointing place, couldn’t hire towels and not available from the hotel.

Very busy and no where to sit.

Needed a good clean.

Not bad but to enjoy water fun it's better to go to Tatralandia which is 50 km from Poprad. We wanted to enjoy especially various slides but the offer is poor mostly for small children. So for teenagers and adults it's just like any other swimming pool.
