Directly in front of Bratislava’s National Theatre is Fontain Ganymed, a depiction of ancient mythology. One of the Old Town’s more ornate and decorator water features and found in a lovely and lively area of the city.

This fountain is absolutely beautiful and not just because it looks glorious in front of the Old National Theatre building which in itself is a marvel to look at, but because its multi-layering and cherub children inspired sculptures has a Parisian feel to it.
If you're planning a walking tour of Bratislava, by all means include this fountain, but it's not impressive enough to go out of your way to see. I found the building behind it much more interesting, but the guidebooks offer virtually no information on it.
