This street looks unappealing at first, with so many buildings abandoned, run down or being renovated - it feels like a construction zone, but look deeper and there's so much more (see pics). One of the oldest streets in Bratislava, the original cobble-stoned roads exist...More

We walked the old cobbled streets of Kapitulska whilst in the old town. The street is very much medieval and cobbled so really has that atmosphere to it with the old buildings. Fortunately this is less "touristy" that the other streets such as St Michael's...More

This street retains some historical flavor, I guess, and it's pretty in a rundown way, but that's really all. Maybe it doesn't help that I've probably walked it 300 times since I've lived here.

This street is right in front of the entrance of the st. Martins Cathedral. It’s quite beautiful but where flats otherwise you may have trouble walking trough it 😂

Not quite the same as the other photos. Renovations occurring when I was there and lots of buildings needing work but all the more charming for it.

This is a nice alternative street to walk down, it is quite authentic without the hustle and bustle of other streets

Not far from the main square, you stumble upon this beautiful picturesque street with colourful houses. Great photo opportunity.

This is a centerpiece of old town Bratislava. There are cafes galore and shops a plenty. If you are visiting, make this a starting point and explore our from there. Bonus: there are several parking garages and found parking easy to find.

A short burst of colorful buildings. Lots of neglected and partially dilapidated buildings down the side streets. Let's hope EU helps this country rebuild its infrastructure.
